What it does
The AR pill identifier APP can help you recognize the pill. The app can tell you what the pill is based on its engraved ID number after scanning the pill. You could follow the instructions either via voice or text. What's more, it can not only identify one pill at one time but also several pills at one time.
For those people who are elderly or have problems reading the text of pill, or throwing away the package of the pill, they always forget what the pill is. This AR app will help them follow the instructions easily.
How we built it
Currently, we use Figma to design the whole user flow and user experience. And we plan to use Unity for further development.
Challenges we ran into
People always run into problems that they mix up different types of pills and don't know what the pill is for. Our AR pill identifier APP will help you identify the pills and also show the instruction to you vividly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We proposed an amazing idea, and it will have a major social impact on how people eat pills.
What we learned
We really learn how to go through the whole user flow and make the responsible design.
What's next for Pill ID
We will use Unity to make a functional prototype.
