Inspiration
We wanted to create a website that allows user to create and see local pick up games.
What it does
When a user logs into the website, it will list the games near their location. The games are stored in a database when a user creates an event.
How we built it
We built the front end using react and the backend using express and mongodb.
Challenges we ran into
We had some trouble with the google map API.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Although we didnt finished, we were proud of what we were able to do.
What we learned
All of us have some gaps in our knowledge of the overall full stack web development process, we all learn a few things along the way.
What's next for PickUpGame
We will try to finish it after Beachhacks.
