PhishNet is a locally hosted website used to detect if your emails are too phishy. Type in the subject and email and with the help of Gemini AI we will break down what makes it a potential risk.

Inspiration

I'm a cybersecurity major, so I wanted to see if I could create a project that could incorporate some aspects of what I will be learning into a practical project

What it does

takes user input of an example email, and determines how much of a risk that email is

How we built it

I used Visual studio code to set up my files, I used ChatGPT to help debug and refine my code. Used React , html5, css, and javascript to set up the framework of the frontend; and python for the backend.

I had to go home and help my girlfriend who has a concussion (time management),
