Inspiration
A biology research tool used to hang hand held equipment. It's been redesigned for pens on a standard desk.
What it does
It displays pens. It rotates around a center axel.
How we built it
The stand, which contains a stationary structure (like a volcano shape), and the carousel (like an umbrella shape) which holds the pens.
Challenges we ran into
The slot joints were difficult because the laser cutter removed some of the cardboard. We had to adjust to make the joints fit.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It looks relatively clean!

Cardboard structures can be built with no tape!
