  Making a review

Inspiration

Our inspiration was yelp. We liked the use case of yelp and thought it would be beneficial to our day-to-day interactions with people.

What it does

It allows people to rate each other based on their behavior in society. It's meant to force people to be on their best behavior so conflicts never arise again.

How we built it

We used plain HTML, CSS, JS, and attempted to use firebase to make this. We wanted to have a fully functioning backend for the website but were unable to accomplish this due to our lack of familiarity with backend web development along with the time that we had.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges making the backend. Since we've never made a backend before this was very difficult and took up the majority of our time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our frontend since it took lots of time and we think it looks pretty good.

What we learned

We learned a lot about backend web development since we've never touched it before. We learned about firebase and just how to approach making a backend.

What's next for Peer

We're considering continuing peer through making a fully functioning backend and just fully finishing the project.
