Inspiration
The game portion was inspired by Omori, a mental awareness game.
What it does
Our project is divided to two parts, our game and website. Our game aims to replicate what it's like to have mental disorders such as Schizophrenia and Alzheimer.
How we built it
The game was built using Godot 3.5 with the GDscript language.
Challenges we ran into
A major roadblock of our project was syncing the game portion between different devices. Even though github was used to sync, that didn't stop from certain files to either be missing or corrupted.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Some of the audio turned out really well when included in the scenarios, especially the caretakers in the Alzheimer scenario
What we learned
We learned that 36 hours isn't actually a lot of time
What's next for Pax: The Project
The next plan is to add more scenarios such as PTSD, Bipolar, and OCD
