Inspiration

Many homeowners have started getting dogs for companionship during the COVID-19 Pandemic. But choosing the right type of dog can be difficult, especially for someone with allergies. Pawlog is something that hopes to fix that, using user input to find the best furry companion for you!

What it does

PawLog is a recommendation system for choosing the best type of dog based on many factors.

How we built it

• Utilized Python for frontend, Prolog for backend

Challenges we ran into

• Finding mode in a list using Prolog
• Send information to and from Prolog and Python

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Learnt and used Prolog within 24 hours
• Found a way to use commonsense reasoning for pet preferences
