Pawformance is a fitness tracker designed specifically for your pet!

Features

• Track Pet Activity:

  • Enter data such as distance ran, minutes active, calories burned, and calories consumed.
  • View detailed progress on how well your pet is performing and if they are achieving goals.

• Set Custom Goals:

  • Set specific goals like "Minutes Active," "Distance Ran," or "Calories Burned."
  • Track goal completion and see how many goals your pet has achieved.

• Health Rating:

  • Based on the metrics you provide, Pawformance calculates a health rating for your pet (out of 10).

This project addresses the problem of pet fitness, and helps owners keep track of their pets heath Built using SwiftUI My main inspiration for this project was the fact that there was a lack of apps to track progress for your pets, and pet fitness is extremely important. I ran into challenges with developing the goal cards to appear once goals were added as well as the health score metric. The next steps for Pawformance would be to integrate the OpenAI API so that users could chat with AI to get the next steps for their animal, and to use the OpenAI API to calculate the health score. This is something that I attempted to add but I ran into issues with the API itself and quota issues.

I learned how to use SwiftUI with this project.

I am proud that I was able to develop a simple platform so that users can track their pets weekly goals to ensure their fitness.
