💻 What it does Patient Assistant is a user-friendly health monitoring and teleconsultation platform. It:
Tracks patient status (lower & upper body symptoms, mobility, and vulnerabilities)
Provides real-time updates to assigned doctors
Enables virtual consultations via integrated Jitsi Meet
Offers a one-click emergency alert system
Supports appointment scheduling and contact with clinicians All of this is accessible through a clean and responsive web interface.
🛠️ How we built it We used Weebly, a no-code website builder, to develop and design the platform. The patient dashboard is structured using visual elements and embedded links (Jitsi Meet, WhatsApp). We structured it with these main components:
Doctor Assignment Sections
Symptom & Treatment Trackers
Meeting Integration (Jitsi)
Emergency & Contact Buttons
🚧 Challenges we ran into Limited backend functionality with Weebly (no real-time databases or dynamic updates)
Integration of external tools like video calls and messaging without custom code
Ensuring ease of use while presenting medical information in a structured, professional layout Despite these, we focused on maximizing functionality within Weebly’s limitations.
🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of Built a working telehealth assistant prototype with no-code tools
Designed a platform that simulates real-life doctor-patient workflows
Ensured emergency access and data clarity for both patients and doctors
Successfully integrated live consultation features within a simple website builder
