PandaBorderless

Inspiration

We were inspired to create PandaBorderless after seeing the difficulties and high fees that many individuals face when conducting cross-border transactions. Our motivation for working on this solution also comes from a desire to help foreign domestic workers who spend much of their limited rest time on weekends waiting in line to send money to their families. We wanted to find a way to make these transactions more accessible and affordable for everyone.

The goal

The primary goal of utilizing blockchain technology is to facilitate faster and more cost-effective financial transactions. This objective has been recognized by the G20 as a key area of focus in the development and implementation of blockchain solutions. By leveraging the capabilities of this technology, it is believed that significant improvements can be made in the efficiency and effectiveness of financial transactions, ultimately leading to a more streamlined and effective financial system.

What it does

PandaBorderless is a platform that uses the Ethereum blockchain to facilitate cross-border payments. Our platform makes it easy for users to send and receive payments to and from other countries at competitive exchange rates and low fees.

How we built it

We built PandaBorderless using the Ethereum blockchain and a variety of tools and technologies including AWS, Truffle, and Ether.js. We worked closely as a team of developers and designers to bring our vision to life.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was navigating the complexities of the Ethereum blockchain and ensuring that our platform was secure and user-friendly. We also had to overcome some regulatory hurdles in order to bring PandaBorderless to market.
