Inspiration
65% of students do not use their planner app because of inconvenience or the puzzling ui. Schools spend 1000s of dollars in software or paper being left blank since students find them not helpful. We want to resolve this issue by providing a reliable easy to use calendar app with the rise of drag and drop ui.
What it does
This drag and drop application allows you to build out your schedule with simple drag and drop commands. You can also create a key to share your schedule with others.
How we built it
We used angular, JS, Html and css, we used angular for parts of the UI including the parabola shaped line that connects boxes. Then we used css for animations, and we also used Html.
Challenges we ran into
We had a hard timing coming up with ideas. And it was our first time using java script as our backend so everything took longer than python.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We learned lots of frontend, and we also had made a great app that looked great and we will use for school related activities.
What we learned
Java script lots of frontend, with css animations that looked fluid.
What's next for Overflow
We are going to add a database to help share schedules easy.
