Inspiration

Sometimes I really like a song but I'm always curious to see how the song would sound if it was in a different style so I made Orchestration to find out for me.

What it does

It processes a midi file and is able to switch between different styles of music featuring 10 different instruments so you're able to see how whatever song you like sounds like in any style.

How we built it

This was built using tonejs which is a web audio framework.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was figuring out how to create music out of samples of different instruments and then finally using the web audio framework to read the midi file to play.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It actually works and you can hear all the instruments.
