Inspiration
We were inspired by recent events, and when we did some researching, we found out the refugees were not treated equally, and we wanted to change that.
What it does
We provided some information about refugees and their experiences. With our project, refugees are also given the opportunity to find well paying jobs.
How we built it
We used Repl.it as our coding platform. And we used HTML and CSS as our coding languages.
Challenges we ran into
We were struggling with seguing through the pages, but in the end we figured it out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We love how we embedded the form in the website. We also really like the style of the navbar.
What we learned
We learned a lot about refugees, and the struggles they face. We also learned how to use the navbar efficiently and how to connect it to CSS.
What's next for OliveTree Refugees
We are planning to create a form that saves the responses, and shares it to companies. We are also planning to allow companies add advertisements to hire refugees.
