Inspiration
As TA for CSE 115 and CSE 116 last semester and I noticed students that would abuse the queue and find ways to place their names in weird way to get more help than other students. I wanted to create a solution similarity to way is used at UC Berkeley computer science department.
What it does
It's a Website the queues students for CSE 115 & CSE 116.
How we built it
The website was built with python on the backend for enqueue and dequeue students. The Frontend was made with HTML, Python, Flask, and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
- Finding ways display the Queue on the front end from the backend.
- Figuring out access control from student and admin/course instructor ## Accomplishments that we're proud of We managed to finish the rough outline of the idea. ## What we learned We learned ho to work as a team and decided as a group the best way to go about solving the problem. ## What's next for Office Hours Queue Management (Website)
- Adding for features for statistical data for office hours.
- Adding more courses to the site
- Make the website non-local.
