Disclaimer: this project is not blockchain related but STACK related
Inspiration
Problem: As STACK grows within the next few years, there will be many more offers(maybe in the 100's) that the customer will have access too. However, displaying these offers in a list/table/scroll view to sort through can be a turnoff for the customer and deter them from fully utilizing STACK. There must be a fun and intuitive way to sort these offers to all demographics of the market from young adults to seniors.
What it does
Solution: OfferSwipe! An offer swiping view, that lets users sort offers based on tags and swiping gesture(like Tinder), and stores the offers they swiped "yes" on for use. A fun game to play on the train ride home or waiting in line, where you win with STACK savings.
How I built it
General App Architecture: Model View Controller
Front End Swiping Feature:
- UIPanGestureRecognizer
- Delegate/Delegation
- Storyboard
- View Controller
Back End
- Storing Swiped Offers:
- Core Data/Data Persistence
- TableViewController
Challenges I ran into
- Implementing the swiping feature took a long time
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Swiping Feature
- Saved Offers
- Data Persistence
What I learned
- Time Management
- Improved my front end app development
What's next for OfferSwipe
- Take over the world......one offer at a time
