Inspiration
We were inspired by the idea of making stock trading accessible for everyone, regardless of their experience. We wanted to create a platform where users can easily get stock recommendations powered by AI, helping them make informed decisions with minimal risk.
What it does
Oasis Finance uses AI to analyze market trends and suggest stocks with high growth potential and minimal risk. Users can view a list of AI-picked stocks that are updated in real-time.
How we built it
We built the platform using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end, and used simple algorithms to simulate AI-based stock recommendations. We fetched data about stocks from a predefined list and displayed it in a user-friendly way.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges included handling real-time stock data, ensuring that the AI-powered recommendations were clear and easy to understand, and optimizing the user interface for a better mobile experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re proud of the smooth user interface and the ability to generate real-time stock suggestions. The AI recommendation system is intuitive and responsive, making stock trading feel less overwhelming for new users.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate basic AI algorithms into web applications, handle dynamic data, and improve the design to create an intuitive user experience. It also taught us how to collaborate efficiently as a team.
What’s next for Oasis Finance
Next, we plan to integrate live stock data from real APIs, enhance the AI model for more accurate predictions, and add more features like tracking stocks in a portfolio, setting alerts, and expanding to include more financial tools.
