NTDC Project Story

Fueled by a firm hatred for child exploitation and a relentless quest for justice, the NTDC Score Project became our mission. The journey was no easy feat. From devising fair criteria to measure brand exploitativeness to researching real-world corporate practices exploitativeness, each step was a challenge. Countless hours were spent untangling the complexities of unethical business behaviours and transforming this data into a sleek, user-friendly interface. Tackling integration issues with Firebase and mastering state management with React hooks felt like taming a wild beast. But with determination and a vision for a better world, we overcame each obstacle. This project honed our skills in React, Firebase, CSS, and Git, and deepened my resolve to use technology for good. The NTDC Score Project isn't just an app—it's a beacon of hope, shining a light on corporate malpractice and empowering consumers to make informed, ethical choices. Here’s to a future where justice prevails and businesses are held to higher standards!
