Inspiration

After reading the Theta Mainnet 4.0 Whitepaper, we got excited about the possibility of disrupting a market while learning about the Theta Network and block chain technology.

What it does

Our platform enables users to sign up as advertisers or promoters. As an advertiser, you are able to efficiently start ad campaigns and get your message out into the world. As a promoter, you are able to easily integrate ads into your existing website to serve them to consumers while earning TFUEL.

Challenges we ran into

Building this platform required us to learn and understand how platforms like Google AdSense works. Which was a challenge. After countless hours, we successfully started serving ads on our test site.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are extremely proud about integrating authentication system with two user roles and an admin role. We are also proud of being able to serve ads while tracking clicks and impressions.

What we learned

We learned that with careful planning, you can make any idea come together. We also learned a ton about the Theta Network. We are excited to see where it goes from here.

What's next for NodeMarket Platform

Since this is an MVP, we do not charge TFUEL for uploading ads and we do not payout promoters. In the future we plan to implement this important feature. We also plan to improve our click and impression tracking algorithm.
