Inspiration
I got inspired to create this project when I heard about a person who experienced racism. It made me realize how harmful racism is, and how it has existed across history and still affects people today. This moment pushed me to build something that can help others understand, report, and fight racism
What it does
No Label teaches about racism, lets people report incidents safely, and offers games and tips to fight discriminationز
How we built it
I worked with my teammate, who handled the research part. She collected information about what racism is, how it happens, its impacts, and the best ways to stop it. I built the website myself using: html and css and java script Each page was designed to be simple, clear, and easy for people to use.
Challenges we ran into
I faced some challenges: Programming issues For example, some images were different sizes when placed next to each other. I had to use an online tool to resize them properly. Finding images At first, I didn’t know where to find suitable images for the website. After searching for a while, I finally found the right ones from a website that offers free images. These challenges taught me patience and problem-solving, and helped me improve my skill
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're Proud Of We built a simple and clear website that helps people understand racism and report it safely. We worked as a team, solved problems, improved our skills, and turned our idea into something real that can help others.
What we learned
While working on this project, we learned a lot about racism—its forms, its causes, and its effects on people and society. We also improved our skills in creating websites, understanding user experience, and organizing content in a clear and simple way.
What's next for No Label
Next, we want to add more games and lessons about racism. We plan to reach more people, raise awareness, and help schools and communities fight racism. Our goal is to make No Label a trusted tool for learning and reporting racism everywhere
