Inspiration
For this project, we were inspired by the idea of NFTs and wanted to make them more accessible to a greater audience.
What it does
The app allows you to use your NFT(s) similar to a collectible Pokemon card, where it utilizes a powerful algorithm to calculate your NFT's stats, essential in battle when it faces off against other NFTs.
How we built it
We used Python and Django to create this app, as well as HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
We found that time was an issue, with only 12 hours it was a challenge to brainstorm a viable idea, plan and scope out the details and implement it into a working app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are most proud of the teamwork and project development skills and knowledge of NFTs that we gained from working together to create this project. We are confident that we have improved both in soft and hard technical skills.
What we learned
We learned about NFTs ourselves and how to work with them. We also enhanced our technical skills working on this project, mainly with Python and Django.
What's next for NFT Pokemon
Next, we plan to polish aspects of the app to improve functionality and reduce unintended behaviour, as well as improve the algorithm used to generate stats.
