Inspired by the pulse-pounding world of Fast and Furious, our project intricately incorporates the Muse 2's gyroscope and frequency band sensors, transforming a single track into a cerebral battleground for peer-to-peer (P2P) racing.
Our game isn't just about velocity; it's a cognitive challenge. In real-time, we monitor users for signals of ADHD through low theta waves and compromised cortical function via the absence of beta waves. It's a mind-bending race where mental acuity directly influences in-game success, injecting a dose of health monitoring into the adrenaline mix.
Cracking the code to implement this visionary project was no joyride. Integrating real-time EEG data into Unity, crafting multiplayer code from scratch, and mastering the intricacies of a new language—C#—presented challenges akin to navigating hairpin turns. Brainflow, C#, Unity, and Python became our arsenal, converging to create a neural masterpiece.
Live streaming the Muse 2's gyroscope data and bridging the gap between Brainflow and Unity posed fresh challenges. Extracting band powers from raw EEG data demanded next-level hacking skills, as did implementing machine learning models for concentration level calculations.
Yet, hackers thrive on challenges. Looking forward, our sights are locked on injecting more adrenaline into our creation. Difficulty levels, a ranked competitive system, virtual reality for a first-person thrill, enhanced customization, and expanded gameplay modes are all on our hacking roadmap.
