🌟 Inspiration:

Small businesses can face significant challenges, particularly when it comes to efficient shop management and record-keeping. 😫
StoreHawk was inspired by the desire to provide a unique and easy-to-use platform that addresses these challenges head-on. 💡🛍️
By leveraging Hedera blockchain as its core infrastructure, StoreHawk offers a reliable and immutable source of truth for all transactions and records. 🔒⛓️
The integration of blockchain technology ensures the security, transparency, and integrity of shop management processes. It eliminates concerns related to data tampering or manipulation. 💪✨
Additionally, along with Hedera, obviously ensuring sustainability, we wanted to make sure business owners could also purchase eco-friendly raw materials, while it is hard to measure the environment consciousness of such things, we wanted our users to be able to purchase directly from our platform with a definitive metric, we integrated a token system via Hedera to provide a metric for sustainability score ♻️

✨ What it does:

StoreHawk, powered by Hedera, offers a wide range of features to streamline shop management and support small businesses:

📊 Dashboard:

Provides a comprehensive overview of shop activities and key metrics.
Includes a to-do list where every message is stored on the HEDERA blockchain, ensuring transparency and immutability.
Gives graphical visuals of sales revenue, monthly sales reviews, and purchase activity for easy analysis.
Utilizes tiny, simple pills to represent essential key information such as paid, unpaid, profit, and revenue.

Thanks to HEDERA, we made custom fungible tokens called "Ekyam" - a term coined via the Sanskrit language that stands for "Sustainable value based concept for Community Happiness", acts as a token and metric about a person's sustainability score.

💰 NFT Funds:

Allows business owners to support themselves by creating NFTs.
All NFTs are purchasable via Ekyams, a custom fungible token within the StoreHawk platform powered by HEDERA.
NFTs enable customers to support local business owners and can incorporate real-time bidding systems.
Business owners can utilize these funds to fuel their growth and success.
NFTs are not limited to digital art; they can also include limited edition photoshoots of products or illustrations.

🎁 NFT Issue:

Enables business owners to issue NFTs with premium privileges to customers based on their purchasing behavior.
Customers can avail benefits mentioned in different categories:
- Frequent buyers can enjoy free delivery on their next X orders, with the NFT getting revoked and issued to the next eligible customer.
- Sustainable buyers with Ekyams above a certain threshold can receive free eco-friendly, recyclable goodies with their orders.
- Splurge buyers can avail 10% discounts on their next 4 purchases if the total value is up to 70% of their previous order, where they became eligible for this NFT.

🛍️ Vendors:

Displays the amount of "Ekyams" vendors have, which measures the eco-friendliness of the materials they supply.
Purchasing from high "Ekyam" vendors allows users to afford discount price incentives for customers.
Provides a chat option with vendors, with every message stored on HEDERA, allowing users to sign message agreements as immutable sources of truth for critical agreements.
Enables users to upload images to the decentralized network to keep track of important information.

📦 Orders:

Allows users to view customer details in real-time, including those who have availed Ekyams on their accounts.
Offers discount incentives based on the Ekyams collected by customers for making sustainable purchases.
Discounts are not a loss to the owner; purchasing from higher Ekyam vendors allows owners to gather Ekyams themselves to provide incentives for customers.

💼 MyLedger:

Provides a record ledger to track all incoming and outgoing money.
Stores all transaction details on the HEDERA blockchain.
Offers a comprehensive overview of expenses in a single place.

📝 Listings:

Enables users to see products on sale and provides analytics on the best and worst selling products.
Offers a complete insight into the remaining stock of each product, including additional backordered item counts.

How we built it

Our platform is completely powered by HEDERA:

👽Decentralized Identity:

Created a decentralized identity that respects the owner privacy, is secure and standard based.

👾NFTs:

Helped us build an NFT marketplace and also issue NFTs for customers to provide special priviledges

📝Decentralized logs:

Provided record keeping for the business owner via low-cost, scalable plus publicly verifiable log data with native consensus timestamps - helps to record message agreements, transfers of Ekyam, credits and debits plus all the transactions and transfers

🪙Custom Fungible Tokens:

Through HEDERA, we were able to create custom fungible tokens - Ekyam for our platform to ensure smoother and intutive features for StoreHawk

🚧Challenges we ran into

Wrapping our heads around the intricacies of integrating Hedera blockchain technology was no small feat! It required a deep understanding and expertise in blockchain development. 🧠💡
The constant power cuts though, it was pretty hard to manage our work with our internet bailing out on us at the most critical times ! ⚡⚡
Designing a user-friendly interface that would be a breeze for small business owners to navigate proved to be trickier than expected. We wanted it to be simple yet powerful! 🖥️🤔
Building a robust and secure system to handle transactions and store data on the blockchain was like building an impenetrable fortress! We had to ensure records were immutable and tamper-proof. 🔒🔐
Balancing the advanced features of NFT funds and incentives while keeping the platform simple and user-friendly was like walking a tightrope. We wanted to empower without overwhelming! 💪🎨💰
