Inspiration

The average person doesn't know what NASA does or stands for. They think it is people who make rockets and the better version of SpaceX. Their only information about them is from mainstream media where they only see the crazy or bad things in our universe.

What it does

It's an Instagram bot that posts summaries of articles from the official NASA news website

How we built it

I used a web scraper called Beautiful Soup to get the links and titles of the articles. Then I will send the links to a Gemini AI to give a summary of the article. Third, I created a visual for the articles for the user to engaged. Lastly, it will post the visual and summary to Instagram for the world to see.

What's next for Nebulanewz

Create better visuals, grow the account, find other space-related articles unrelated to NASA to post, and maybe turn the bot into a website or email newsletter.
