Inspiration

As students, meeting friends and sharing good memories is an essential part of the college experience. We wanted to extend to the wider community and make it easier share, take part in, and remember those precious moments of our life.

What it does

Users can find or create events near them and engage with each other by uploading and sharing pictures.

How we built it

We used a stack consisting of :

Angular (backend)
Ionic (frontend)
Firebase (database)

We used the openstreetmaps API for our in-app map system and google authentication with firebase to create and store users.

Challenges we ran into

Our team wasn't familiar with the tech stack before beginning and faced challenges with integrating the maps API with our backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Designing a clean, simplistic UI experience.

What we learned

We learned how to collaborate with each other (overcoming merge conflicts!), improve our programming knowledge and learn about designing UIs and class hierarchies.
