Inspiration

We were first inspired by the fact that most college students are introverted! We wanted to create a centralized app for hangout matchmaking for UW students and UW related activities to hopefully increase the amount of meetups on campus and to foster a more social atmosphere

What it does

It is a hangout matchmaker app that makes planning events around the UW campus so simple. All it takes is a click of a button, and UW students can meet and link up with new people with ease. Now, we know that meeting strangers can be dangerous, thus we made sure that this app is limited to only be accessed by anyone with a UW account.

How we built it

We first drew up the app on pieces of paper to try and brainstorm how each page would look on Figma. Then we divided up tasks into front end and back end amongst our 4 group members and each built a section of the app's functionality.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges that we ran into were creating interactive figma pages since none of our group members had prior experience with this program.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing and sticking through with out concept and plans until the very end

What we learned

In the future, we should definitely have version control set up ahead of time, and that we should focus on more realistic projects rather than spending time on things that are too ambitious.
