Inspiration

As a group of longtime friends, we are always trying to find new ways of spending time together, watching new movies, and keeping things interesting. We took our need for new bestie-dates and decided to put together MyDATE which allows for everyone to plan the perfect experience for them.

What it does

Personalize dining, art, tunes, and entertainment based on mood. MyDate crafts the perfect recipe, artwork, playlist, and movie for your at-home date night, whether alone, with a partner, or friends.

How we built it

We built this on Amazon’s Bedrock Playground, PartyRock.

Challenges we ran into

When it came to the image generation aspect of our app. We initially had some trouble with getting the output how we wanted it. After experimenting with and changing the prompts, we were able to get results that we were happy with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create an intuitive and personable application, which can truly be used by anyone. Whether that someone is planning an at-home date alone, a date with their significant other, or an evening with friends, this application serves all needs. We are proud of how we were able to integrate user experience design to make sure that this application fits all.

What we learned

We learned about the importance of clear and concise prompting. Using key words and specific instructions allowed us to generate the results we were looking for.
