What it does
Uses the Myo arm band to control a mechanical arm that could be used for various things in a stabilized state, such as;
-Surgery done back doctors in a different location -A prosthetic hand -Smash chips -Operating a construction crane(On a large scale) -Conduct a band with an out of state conductor
How we built it
Found a mechanical arm in a closet, immediately play with it Used a power supply to run power to the arm, and ground EVERYTHING together
Challenges we ran into
Finding the ranges of what angles the arm can be at without destroying the table. Arm convulsions that make the arm do very unexpected things
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Sufficiently crushing chips. Getting the servos to turn certain degrees Getting Myo Armband data from gyroscope Not crying when the mechanical arm pinched or punched us
