Inspiration
The hackathon prompt inspired us to tackle this challenge
What it does
The program prompts the user, who is a doctor with their credentials already in the medical system, to login into a dashboard. The dashboard allows the user to click on a patient's information and prescribe them medication/pills.
How we built it
We were able to use online tutorials to teach us the concepts we needed to understand in order to build our project, we were also able to use github to share and centralize our code.
Challenges we ran into
One of the challenges we faced were learning how to adapt the given methods in the framework to the specific application we were trying to create.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Accomplishments we are proud of: We had a surface-level understanding of front and back-end development going into the hackathon, and we have learned a lot of java script and html to make this work.
What we learned
We learned how to write in JS and React/Node/Express.js.
What's next for My Doc Rx
We plan to return back to this project and update the code as we go and gain more experience.
