Inspiration
Improve the collaboration environment in professional settings by providing a low-cost alternative multimedia whiteboard that can be used on any flat surface.
What it does
Allows users to handwrite on presentations or record notes as you brainstorm on a whiteboard with people across the room or across the world.
How we built it
We connected a Bluetooth module to the computer and sent data using a Wii mote, the data is sensed by an IR emitter and translated to clicks in the computer in an X,Y plane.
Challenges we ran into
Troubleshooting the poor response between the IR emitting pen and wiimote.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Maintaining a positive outlook and pushing through by supporting each other despite the many hiccups.
What's next for Multiuser IR Touch Whiteboard
Being able to integrated in different operating system hosts such as Linux, and also using different architectures such as ARM
