Inspiration
CodeJam 13 is the first hackathon for most of us, so we created a project whose focal point is our shared affinity for music. As we are all musicians, we understand that transcribing works of raw audio into pieces of sheet music can be a strenuous endeavor. So we, as computer science students and musicians, set on the task of creating an MP3 file-to-sheet-music converter. Our objective for this project is to ease the process of manually creating musical notations from pure sound.
