Inspiration
Growing up we watched our fathers working very hard on certain household projects involving measuring, we felt that there had to be a simpler way to get stuff like that done, and thus we felt the need to make a product capable of making this process simpler.
What it does
The goal is that it is able to measure the distance from point a to point b, and the speed of an object.
How we built it
We originally planned to make it a Kotlin based app, but then decided it would be better as a web app with proper android integration.
Challenges we ran into
- Food Coma
- App to Web development
- Setting up the development environment ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We were able to develop a strong team relationship and bond
- We were to successfully manage our time to ensure maximum output and be productive
- We were able to define the functions for the variables and establish a repository for the product
- Made the UI for the website ## What we learned
- We learned how to do basic code in Kotlin
- Learned how to make the user interface easy to use and applicable for all users ## What's next for Motion Making a phone version, adding an angle measure, energy, the type of energy, and of course making it as accurate as possible. In the future we would like to expand this into an educational tool as well!
