Inspiration
Our music library lately has been a little bit chaotic, with the vast amount of music to choose from. Today, we decided that, enough was enough. We are finally going to put an end to it, by creating a website that gives us an easier, more efficient experience, while only sacrificing a little bit in the actual sound of the music.
What it does
Allows user to pick a genre of music to listen to, and get thrown with a completely different style of music, with a little twist of our own, cuz why not.
How we built it
Using Visual Studio Code and GitHub, we were able to build a website that randomizes the audio that is played after the user selects a genre of music. Using Adobe After Effects, we combined different music files and made a display of the audio spectrums, to give the user a visual experience to complement the graceful music that they will be enlightened with.
Challenges we ran into
Biggest one was definitely coming up with the name. Ended up deciding to play it safe. A little lame but its ok... We also had challenges deciding on what music to play and merge, as well as waiting for Adobe After Effects to render the videos.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Integrating html, css, and javascript into our website like integrating music together, revolutionizing modern music and giving a new definition to different genres and music, and causing auditory chaos that will leave one confused, but speechless while jamming unbelievably hard to the music.
What we learned
That music can be in all genres, forms, and combinations, and how to integrate javascript with html and css.
What's next for Most Normal MP4
In the future, we plan to add additional functionality to Most Normal MP4 to make it more exciting for users to interact with. We plan to add even more songs to the list, as well as adding a play next feature to allow a continuous visual and audio experience.
