Inspiration

GPT and AI have been on the rise in the field of software and we wanted to try them out for ourselves!

What it does

M&M&M to take in any type of text or writing and summarizes it into text that the average person can understand.

How we built it

We used Google Vision and GPT-4 to first translate from image to text, then used GPT-4 to translate from law jargon to the speaker's preferred language.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we ran into involve the quality of images and the consistency of API responses. It was also the first time that we all worked on the same file at the same time using GitHub, but luckily we were able to make it work out in the end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of include becoming familiar with react.js, the Google Vision API, and the OpenAI GPT API in a very short time frame.

What we learned

We learned and solidified our knowledge of react.js, Google Vision, and the GPT-4 API in the span of 24-hours.

What's next for Morgan & Morgan Mate

We would've liked to reach the other challenges as well, making the form and the scheduler would've been awesome. But because of complications with GitHub we weren't able to reach them in time.
