Inspiration

A lot of people tend to struggle with their finances in this modern world; money is what makes the world grow and rot.

What it does and how we built it

I wanted to make a simple and sleek application for the world to try and it could handle a lot of data and show trends. It utilises the Streamlit API as a frontend for the program. It also uses the Pandas library as a DBMS and Scikit-Learn for additional statistics that may not be easily accessible. This project's was founded on the shoulders of the OOP programming paradigm.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of the basic implementations didn't work. We had to tackle non-existent dataframe entries and columns, we had to look at removing expenses and especially creating the UI for the emailing and dealing with stupid embeds.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we've made a viable product that is easily expandable - the base of it doesn't need to be even for expenses; there are a lot of broad uses. The UI is simple and sleek and where to go is mostly clear.

What we learned

We've learned how to use a GUI API that utilises the field of Data Science as a visual one.

What's next for Monthly Expense Tracker

We can do a lot more. We wanted to send reminders every month of our spending, like a bank statement. We also wanted to implement more different aspects of ML into
