MLE (Make Life Easier)

Inspiration

We were tired of standing at the checkout for a long time, so we decided to find an alternative. We recalled what alternatives there could be and agreed that computer vision is one of the best solutions to this problem.

What it does

Our software identifies the product and gives it the name and price we set.

How we built it

We used open source. The Yolo model for instant product identification.

Challenges we ran into

At the moment, we cannot identify the goods being weighed, such as vegetables, fruits, etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have managed to create a working code that defines the transmitted data.

What we learned

We learned how to work with Yolo, as well as transfer coordinates to products.

What's next for MLE (Make Life Easier)

We will continue to improve the product and sell to companies that are interested.
