What it does
Friendly autonomous robot for fast announcements dispatchment, offering a fun & engaging alternative to spreading sugar, spice and a touch of magic inside companies that use mirro.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into
- Choosing between Roomba iRobot and Xiaomi MI Robot
- Connecting to MI Robot and mapping the office space
- Creating the connection between MI Robot, Python server and NodeJS server

What we learned
It was the first time when the team members worked with RaspberryPI and vacuum cleaners .
What's next for Mirrel
Functionalities can be extended to various scenarios that include:
- make public announcements more fun and engaging
- test to speech capabilities
- gathering feedback after meetings
- nudging your colleagues to give you constructive feedback
- connect with Outlook calendar and announce company events & gatherings
- recognizing colleagues while interacting with them
- finding colleagues around the office
- make special deliveries around the office (who wants a beer? )
