Inspiration
This is inspired by our thoughts and we used to help the people around. We knew that people and suffering from illnesses we had great idea to make a game out of it.
What it does
In this game your goal is to get correct answers when answered questions about mental health. You need fight of negative thoughts and illnesses to survive. If you need to survive read the questions and answer them correctly, if you get them wrong a strong enemy will spawn and try to kill you. To fight it off click and hold on the screen to release the weapon to deal damage on the enemy. If you die you lose and that's game over.
How we built it
we used block coding and a software called scratch, except we used Gandi IDE. Its basically Scratch but it for multiple people and they can use all at once. This coding software even has drawing so we can create backdrops, characters, items, and frames for animations.
Challenges we ran into
We started with bugs and the team couldn't get together. There were delays when building because we have few good coders and most of the team is good at graphic design. But we working hard and strong on the next and that worked out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our teammates got a chance to show their work and be used on the project.
What we learned
we learned pretty much scratch coding/block coding works.
What's next for MindQuest
we will use a different coding language and work better on the graphic design. Make sure the entire team learns how to code.
