Inspiration
We chose to create a platform for personalized professional help for various mental illnesses and marginalized groups. Seeking help is an already difficult experience, so the process of finding a therapist should not be an additional burden. For example, individuals from racial minorities should be able to easily find professionals that understand their perspectives, or members of the LGBTQ+ community should be able to find accepting therapists.
What it does
Our website allows users to select topics that they want to seek help for, and matches them with professionals that specialize in those areas.
How we built it
We used html, css, and javascript.
Challenges we ran into
We are new to web development, so creating a functional website within the time constraint was difficult.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have learned so much in only 2 days, and to have created a project that we are passionate about.
