Inspiration

The inspiration for this project comes from my personal experience as a college student struggling with ADHD, as well as the needs of my roommate, who faces similar challenges. We found that daily tasks like managing meal plans, taking medication on time, and maintaining focus during study sessions were difficult, especially when dealing with distractions and forgetfulness. The main goal of this project is to create a lowkey-cooked college student-friendly mobile app that helps individuals with ADHD (and others) manage their day-to-day activities with a simple, efficient interface that includes key features like meal planning, medication reminders, and screen time control. The app is designed to reduce the mental load of organizing life and make it easier to stay on track.

What it does

This app is designed to help people, particularly those with neurodivergent conditions, manage their daily tasks more effectively.

How we built it

We emphasized a list of features that we felt would be most important and helpful as a tool in managing daily activities as a neurodivergent individual. We centered our tech stack around these features. Some frameworks/technologies we used include: Supabase Google Gemini API React native And more!

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was making sure the app remained simple and easy to use, despite its multiple features. With ADHD, people can easily feel overwhelmed by complex systems, so finding the right balance was crucial.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're extremely proud of how far this project has come in the past 24 hours!

What we learned

We used various technologies that we didn't have experience with, so we all learned plenty.

What's next for mindfull

Refinement of current features and new features to help make day-to-day tasks easier :)
