Our inspiration for the project is to help our police officers by making a robotic arm to remotely defuse the explosives.
We hope to help our police officers and military personnel with our cutting edge precision technology which would help them defuse the situation without risking their own lives while endangering everyone around them.
We built our 4 DOF Robotic Arm with an Arduino UNO board as the main microcontroller. It uses servos in the joints and rotational axes, and we used 3D Printed PLA as the main chasis of the robotic arm.
The main challeges we faced while building our arm is the lack of essential components required for the smooth working of our arm
We are proud to present an almost working model that was put together with less than a day.
We learnt the extensive uses of the Arduino UNO Board and the PWM Motor drivers. Also about the hoffying terrors of bombings around India while researching about the issue at hand.
We would like to apply computer vision and to our robotic arm in the next model MILITANT MK.II
