Inspiration: We were inspired by the game beat saber (specifically the blocks coming at the user).

What it does: An AI hand detection game where the user has to dodge blocks coming at their character. The blocks coming at you are synced with a song to make it pleasing to play. The score also goes down when you're character is on the block and when you are not on a block the score goes up.

How we built it: We divided the parts up with some people focusing on the AI, some people focusing on the graphics, and some people working on the songs. We used python and pygame to build this.

Challenges we ran into: Working together as a team and integrating the AI part with the code. The graphics were glitchy. The AI stuff took a long time and were worried if we were even going to get it done. Github was not working with school wifi so that was very difficult

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud of working together as team as it was hard with Frank leaving to orchestra and many team members having a glitchy github. It was also difficult to integrate AI with the game.

What we learned: We learned to work together as a team effectively as well as integrating an AI system into the game aspects.

What's next for Midnight Moves: Adding more songs and monetizing the game (to pay royalties to all the artists :))
