MiddleMan Discord Bot

Inspiration

When we decided to make this bot we had the idea to stop scamming on discord. We were inspired when one of my friends got scammed on discord. We made this bot so no one would get scammed anymore. It wasn't real money but it took time out of his day. He felt bad, so we made a middle man bot so no one will get scammed anymore! This bot is just the husk of what we wanted it to be but we will add more features later!

What it does

It makes sure that no one gets scammed. It also has moderation commands and fun commands to use on yourself and your friends

How we built it

We used repl.it and made the bot. This took a lot of python programming

Challenges we ran into

We had to figure out how to make the bot run 24/7so we made a webserver this made sure that it ran 24/7. we also had some syntax errors but we solved them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the fact that all of our commands are useful and that we got the trading to work with no syntax errors.

What we learned

We learned how to make a trading bot, and many other useful commands.
