Inspiration

45,000, just in America, die due to difficulty in accessing Healthcare. Whether it be uncertainty as to location of healthcare services, or whether the doctor there is compatible with your insurance, these difficulties eventually cause symptoms to gradually worsen and lead to fatal outcome.

We wanted to change this, and make access better.

What it does

Our software is able to display locations of nearby physicians based off AXA's API data, allowing an program that's tailored to the user.

How we built it

Blood, sweat, tears and Google API's/Node JS.

Challenges we ran into

Unfortunately, all technologies that we used were all new to us.

What we learned

Practically everything - it's been fantastic to grow together as a team and integrate our knowledge together.

What's next for Mehdi-cal Assistant

To grow bigger, it would be fantastic to have more access to data and have the software do reminders for drugs (e.g. it would remind the user to take their specified drug every 48 hours)
