Children Medication
Inspiration: Each year, 125,000 lives are lost in the U.S. simply because medications aren’t taken as prescribed -- a problem which we have the power to prevent.
What it does: MedMinders is a secure and user-friendly platform designed to help individuals and families manage medications with confidence. Through a gamified, interactive experience, users stay engaged, consistent, and protected from dangerous drug interactions.
How we built it: We built it with next.js. Our project was very multifaceted in that we incorporated a front-end and a back-end for our web-app, along with an entire fully-fledged game.
Challenges we ran into: Integrating the front-end and the back-end together took around 12 hours with many hiccups. However, thanks to relentless dedication and drive, we got through it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Everything is functional! Our chatbot, our game, our front-end, our back-end... It all works great.
What we learned: We learned the value and importance of teamwork, planning through our own strengths, and communication.
