What it does

MedMatch allows people curious about diseases to connect and learn more from each other and certified professionals.

How we built it

We used Golang, Gin, and MongoDB for the backend and we used ReactJS, NextJS, and Figma for the frontend.

Challenges we ran into

We were unable to create some systems due to problems with race variables in NextJS, and also the overall structure of ReactJS and NextJS. We were tight on time because we only had a 2 day time frame to create a forum-style platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are extremely proud of our idea and how much we were able to accomplish in the small time period.

What we learned

We learned how to put together a complex app, building it up from scratch and ending with a fully functional deployment.

What's next for MedMatch

We are planning on adding a ton of features to reach MedMatch's goals and to make this app truly irresistable.
