Inspiration

Our inspiration was to provide expert advice or clarification about your medications? Connect directly with certified professionals through our chat feature. Get immediate guidance, dosage clarifications, or ask questions related to your medications, ensuring you're always informed and confident about your health.

What it does

MediMate is an app that allows users to manage and track their medication usage. It contains pages with account information, a personalized pill tracker, a search bar of different medications and a calendar page. There is also an option to chat with a professional about your medications in different languages.

How I built it

The app prototype was made using Figma and the app was built using react native.

Challenges I ran into

The challenges we ran into was using completely foreign text stack and programs like React Native and Figma.

Accomplishments that Im proud of

We are proud of creating a running app which holds the different feature pages.

What I learned

We learned how to properly implement react native and Figma in order to create our app.

What’s next for MediMate

What’s next for our app is making a working calendar feature, enabling push notifications and a chat feature.

NOTE

The latest version of our code base is in the branch 'Most Recent' since we were having issues with merging into main.
