Inspiration
Vishal, our friend, was searching for a computer as the one he currently has is terrible. Vishal was confused how to find a good computer that would suit his needs. Thus, the idea for Mech-tech was born as a way to make finding computers suited for you easier.
What it does
Mech-tech takes your input on a variety of questions relating to what you want with your computer. Then, we cross-reference the inputs and answers with our well-researched data to finally output which computer best suits the user's needs.
How we built it
We build Mech-tech by using HTML/CSS/JavaScript. We created HTML inputs to ask questions, used JavaScript to analyze the data and cross-reference the user inputs with the data, and used CSS to make our application look much better. We worked as a team to accomplish this together.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into several bugs in our code, however, together, after a few painful hours of debugging, we solved the problems and were able to overcome them to provide you with the best program to find your best computer that suits your needs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the fact that we stuck together and didn't give up even though we had several bugs that seemed unsolvable. We also are proud that we were able to finish the program on time and in satisfaction of what we created.
What we learned
We learned that working as a team isn't too easy. We learned communication is very important in a team, especially of programmers online. We also learned new concepts in programming together as well as solidifying concepts we already knew about
What's next for Mech-tech
Next, we want to expand Mech-tech to make it a bigger, better program for all.
