The many issues of New York City

What it does

An educational decision-making and resource allocating game, presenting many different choices and having to manage your reputation and budget.

How we built it

It is built on the Godot game engine, with code being written in the in-editor Godot script and C#.

Challenges we ran into

Creating different areas of the city to manage, setting up events.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to get a lot more done than expected with events and content, as we finished the initial plans early.

What we learned

Two of our group members learned the Godot engine for the first time, using features such as Godot script and the tilemap to create isometric views.

What's next for Mayor Mayhem

Creating more events and incorporating more realistic details, expanding choices on how you can manage your city.
