Inspiration
Sharing your wallbox can be your new passive income! Instead of suffering from high energy prices, sell excess solar from your roof to high paying electric car drivers while charging yours at home. The sooner you start the better.
What it does
With MaximumChange you can calculate how much you will save and earn with installing and optionally sharing a wallbox at your location. As a huge number of factors can influence the profitability, such as the population, tourism, and location of existing wallboxes, it's hard to predict whether it is worth to build a charger and whether to get a finance plan for it. Our tool makes it easy to determine if you can make money buy building a charger in your home.
How we built it
We build our entire application only using Angular. For calculation of profitability, we are using charger location data and the number of inhabitants per area. For deployment we used Firebase. The source code can be found on https://github.com/Seb-Ltz/Maximum-Charge-HackaTUM2022.
