For all of us, we have created projects such as tiny games, or mockups, but we have never made something that we found useful in real life. After some thinking, we thought that creating a project that could detect your face through a mask would be very useful to today's society in light of COVID-19. Since we were all new to the field of ML, it took a lot of researching and studying to figure out what we where we were even supposed to start. Although this project is incomplete, we are all proud of how much we have learned in terms of algorithms, and the field of Data Science and Machine Learning!
